Arab-Israeli-Palestinian Peace is possible. Events in Egypt make it more urgent.

Arab-Israeli-Palestinian peace is possible. Events in Egypt make it more urgent.

On Sunday, February 13 The New York Times Magazine published "A Plan for Peace That Still Could Be" by Bernard Avishai based on interviews he conducted with former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. The article provides major details of a possible two-state agreement negotiated and almost concluded in 2008. The combination of events in Egypt and the outline of a possible agreement should provide additional incentive to the Obama Administration, in coordination with the Quartet, to press for a peace agreement this year.
